Sizing
Size and fit can differ between each designer and manufacturer. Some of our merchandise use European or Japanese sizing so we make our best efforts to convert these to US sizes. We also provide a sizing chart for the footwear offered on monkeyscloset.com.

If you have any questions regarding sizing for any of the items on our website, please feel free to email us at with your measurements and we can give a recommendation as to your size for the item(s) in question. If you aren't happy with the fit and would like to exchange, please refer to our returns and refund policy below.

Shipping and Handling
We only ship to the 50 US states. All shipping is done via UPS. The cost of shipping and handling is dependent on the number of items in the order and total weight of your order. Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska will incur additional shipping charges. We require a signature for all deliveries (You cannot waive signature delivery) and we cannot deliver to P.O Boxes.

For orders placed on Monday through Friday, we make our best efforts to process and ship orders within 24 hours. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday may not be processed until Tuesday. Monkeyscloset.com will send a notification of shipment to the email address you provided in your order. Your shipment should arrive in 5-7 business days after your order has been processed and shipped. Please note that it may be longer because we cannot control UPS. Also, please note that UPS does not deliver on the weekend or federal holidays. UPS may make 3 attempts to deliver a package, and on the third attempt the package is returned to Monkey’s Closet. In the event of undeliverable packages, the purchaser is responsible for the shipping costs to and from the delivery address and will receive an online credit for the returned goods.

Please remember that you are responsible for all shipping costs to and from Monkeys Closet for exchanges and/or edited orders. Please note that items may be out of stock and we make every attempt to contact the customer in the event of out of stock inventory with suggestions for replacement of out of stock items. If you do not accept the replacement option(s) suggested, a full refund of the out of stock item will be applied to your credit card.

We cannot ship to P.O. boxes - the delivery address must be a street address. Orders to P.O. boxes will be cancelled.

Sale Tax
Monkeyscloset.com charges sales tax for all orders billed to locations in California at the state rate of 9.25% (rate will increase to 9.75% on July 1, 2009).

Returns and Refunds
Please check orders immediately upon receipt and report any issues within 5 business days. If you need to return your merchandise for any reason, we will be happy to exchange it or issue credit. All returns require an RMA #. To receive your RMA # please email us at and we will give you the address and instructions on how to exchange. Any return that does not have an RMA # will be refused.

Items may be returned or exchanged if:

  1. Item is in it's original condition. Item can only be returned or exchanged if it HAS NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL tags and accessories attached.
  2. It has not been more than 5 days from receipt of item.
  3. There has been an error in processing your order.

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  1. All accessories (jewelry, belts, sunglasses, hats, scarves, hair products, handbags, swimsuits, etc) are not eligible for refund.
  2. Undergarments, furniture and special custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
  3. All sale and markdown merchandise are Final Sale, no exchanges, no returns, no exceptions.
  4. Items purchased in the store in Redondo Beach, CA cannot be returned via the internet.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy.

Please note that all returns must be sent via UPS or registered mail as we need a signature.

We do not refund shipping, handling or wrapping charges.

You are only allowed to exchange once per order.
